He painted the magic
In the shades of grey
Yet all he see was orange
But in a darker shade
One blink is all it takes
For the white canvas to be scrapped
And to suddenly appear black
Hiding behind the hues of red

Poet's note:

This is my attempt of using more metaphor without further explanation, making the poem somehow sounded like a ripped off Symbolism poetry.

I could say this is one of my pieces that I actually spent a lot of of time googling for suitable symbolism and such, which is really uncommon for me as I like to write something that's direct and straightforward. I'm actually happy with this one and hope you guys like it too.
